Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor has honored acute care nurse Ruth Doiron as May Employee of the Month. The award recognizes employees who consistently exceed expectations, with reliability and daily dedication to their work.
Doiron specializes in providing immediate and intensive care to patients with severe, urgent or life-threatening conditions in a fast-paced environment. She develops initial medical care plans, monitors patients closely and identifies problems as they arise.
“Ruth regularly picks up shifts to help out the unit, her co-workers and the patients, and is such a joy to work with,” said acute care colleague Ally Robaczynski. “Our patients truly appreciate her.”
