The Vermont Association of Insurance Professionals, an association of insurance professionals dedicated to the development of leaders in the insurance industry, honored members Evan Forward and Stephanie Jo Oakes at the organization's annual meeting May 21 at Fairways & Greens in Barre.
Forward, director of business development at New England Excess Exchange, was presented with the VTAIP Membership Award in recognition his many contributions to the association.
Oakes, senior business analyst at Ogon Consulting, received the Mari Schaarschmidt Service Award for her volunteer work and other contributions to the community. Her award was sponsored by New England Excess Exchange.
The presentations coincided with International Association of Insurance Professionals Week in Vermont, as proclaimed by Gov. Phil Scott.
