Vermont Business Magazine David Zuckerman announced today that he is running for re-election as lieutenant governor. He issued the following statement on his campaign page:
What kind of future do you envision for your family? What about for our state and country?
During my 24 years in public service, I’ve been fighting for a future that includes all of us. That means a sustainable future of environmental, economic, racial, and social justice. It means investing in critical services for low-income and working people -- paid for by making the wealthy pay their fair share in taxes.
This includes addressing Vermont’s dual crises of housing and affordability. It means ensuring we all have access to clean drinking water and clean air to breathe. It means a healthcare system where we all have access to a doctor without worrying about how to pay huge bills. And it means ensuring that we all feel welcome in our communities, in our schools, and in the workplace.
I am pleased to announce that I am running for re-election as Vermont’s Lieutenant Governor to fight by your side for this future for ourselves, our families, and everyone in our communities.
