Union Mutual has promoted Kelly Schavone from commercial lines underwriter to Vermont marketing representative. She succeeds Senior Marketing Representative Jeff McLaughlin, who will retire on July 1 after 28 years with the company.
Schavone brings more than 17 years of industry experience to her new role. Prior to joining Union Mutual in November 2021, she held positions Hickok & Boardman Insurance Group and Jamieson Insurance Agency. Schavone is a graduate of New England College.
“Kelly’s extensive background in the industry, pulling from both the agency and company perspective, will be a great asset in her new role,” said President and CEO Lisa Keysar. “She is well-positioned to continue to build and strengthen our relationships with our agency partners throughout Vermont and Western Massachusetts.”
