Jarred Cobb, former director of operations at Idaho-based Correlate Energy, has been named general manager at Catamount Solar in Randolph, a worker-owned cooperative specializing in high-quality battery and solar design and construction. He succeeds Kevin McCollister, one of the original founders of Catamount, as part of a planned leadership transition.
Cobb is a veteran of the renewable energy industry, with broad experience in the commercial and residential segments. He holds professional certificates from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners and Harvard University, and previously served on the board of Vermont Technical College’s renewable energy program.
“We are very excited to welcome Jarred to Catamount Solar," McCollister said. “The company is well-positioned to build upon last year’s success — one of the best years in the company’s history. Jarred brings a great mix of management experience as well as technical know-how that will keep Catamount Solar at the top of its game in 2024 and beyond.”
