Wallace appointed to Mount Anthony Union School District Board

Beth Wallace, associate director for early-childhood educator engagement at the Vermont Association for the Education of Young Children, was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Mount Anthony Union School District Board. The district includes Mount Anthony Union Middle School and Mount Anthony Union High School.

Wallace was appointed to a one-year term, representing North Bennington, and will be required to seek a full term next March. Prior to joining the VTAEYC last September, she served as assistant director of the Bennington County Head Start and Early Head Start programs of the United Counseling Service.

Wallace is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds a master’s degree in early-childhood education administration from Champlain College. She is a Vermont-licensed teacher for children through Grade 6.
