Denise Clark, director of human resources at the Rutland-based digital marketing and manufacturing company Ann Clark Ltd., has been elected chair of the board of directors at Rutland Regional Medical Center. She succeeds Mark Foley Jr., under whose tenure Clark served as vice chair.
Clark is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and holds a law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. In addition to being a trained lawyer, she also is a licensed pharmacist.
Since moving to Vermont in 1999, Clark has been very involved in her community. She has served as a director of the Rutland Downtown Partnership and on the Vermont Achievement Center Board. She also has served as director of both the Mendon and Barstow school boards.
