Ellen Kane, former executive director of the Vermont Catholic Community Foundation at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington, has been named vice president of institutional advancement at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester.
Kane brings to St. Michael's a wealth of knowledge and expertise in advancement, fundraising and strategic planning, in addition to a deep commitment to the Edmundite Catholic heritage of the college. She has lived and worked in Vermont since 2005 and has had many opportunities to interact with Saint Michael’s, get to know the community members and understand and support the college’s mission.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ellen to the Saint Michael’s community and are excited for the experience and expertise she brings to this leadership position,” President Richard Plumb said. “She's hit the ground running, already working to meet and form connections with our active alumni base and learn the ways in which they can be meaningfully engaged with the college into the future.”
