Meat Survey

2024 Meat Slaughter & Processing Capacity Survey

The Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets (VAAFM) is disseminating its annual Meat Slaughter and Processing Capacity Survey to all inspected facilities (those with USDA, State, or CIS inspection).

This information is critical to help better assess Vermont's meat slaughter and processing capacity, workforce assistance needs, and how VAAFM can support this sector.

The survey should only take a few minutes. Each facility should only complete this survey once. Responses are due by April 26th

Networking: From Awkward to Awesome

This week on the blog, we have some good news that will hopefully help ease the pain of this vital, but often dreaded, aspect of marketing.
