Statewide Road Conditions: Drivers will encounter partially snow-covered roadways this morning as light snow showers continue until late morning. Fortunately, road an air temps in the mid to upper 20’s and rising help the efficacy of roadway treatments. All in all, a mostly "fair” but potentially slippery commute this morning. These light snow showers will change to mostly light rain showers before lunchtime. Drivers should be prepared for a potentially icy afternoon.
US-4 Closure, Killington: US--4 in Killington at Old Route 4 just east of the mountain road is CLOSED to all traffic while crews work a structure fire, please seek an alternate route and expect delays in the area. Updates will be posted to out social media outlets and via VT-Alert
VTrans Response: VTrans crews are out this morning clearing and treating roadways as well as taking care of any trouble spots that may arise throughout the day. Please allow ample space for maintenance vehicles to perform their jobs and avoid crowding plows. Drive with caution.
