Gamal Alsalahi, former Burlington branch manager at Citizens Bank, has joined KeyBank in Burlington as area retail leader for Vermont. In this new position, Alsalahi leads the sales and service efforts of KeyBank’s 10 branches in the state.
“Gamal brings solid retail banking experience to Key, along with a passion for serving clients and developing talent,” said Nicholas Stevens, market retail leader for Maine and Vermont. “With a previous background in mentoring and teaching, he is already having an impact on the performance of our Vermont branch teams, and we are thrilled he has chosen to bring his career to Key.”
Alsalahi is a graduate of Taiz University in his home country of Yemen and holds a master’s degree in teaching from Saint Michael’s College. He is an adjunct professor at Norwich University and serves on the board of directors of the United Way of Northwest Vermont.
