New member brings expertise and experience to the board
Vermont Business Magazine The Central Vermont Medical Center Board of Trustees in Berlin recently appointed Mike Dellipriscoli to its board for his deep ties to central Vermont and experience with health care governance.
As part of the group’s reorganization, Trustee Joyce Judy, president of Community College of Vermont, was elected board chair. Erica Metzger Hare, the chief financial officer of Aspire Living & Learning, was elected vice board chair.
“We are so grateful that Mike is willing to give his time and expertise to help advance UVM Health Network – Central Vermont Medical Center’s mission,” says Judy. “The entire board of trustees is committed to advancing our mission and ensuring our community’s well-being is at the heart of everything we do. Mike’s knowledge of health care will be so helpful as we look to the future.”
Mike Dellipriscoli
Mike served in several executive roles at National Life Group, including the Senior Vice President & CFO at Sentinel Investments. He now serves as a part-time lecturer at the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business and is the principal consultant at Dellipriscoli Consulting. Mike brings many years of experience in healthcare governance and policy decision-making, having served previously on CVMC's Board of Trustees, the UVM Health Network's Board and the American Hospital Association's Small or Rural Hospital Council. He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Mathematics from Villanova University.
The CVMC Board of Trustees is made up of community members who are nominated and elected to set direction for the organization, making sure that it runs in a financially and ethically responsible way with the focus always on continuous improvement to achieve high quality compassionate health care services for our community. These highly qualified and knowledgeable individuals volunteer their time for the betterment of this organization and the public it serves.
