The northern New England law firm Downs Rachlin Martin has presented its inaugural Excellence in Action Award to attorney David Sylvester. The award recognizes an individual who exemplifies the firm’s guiding principles — clients first, quality, integrity, respect, teamwork, mentoring and community — as voted on by DRM employees.
“David truly embraces and lives our guiding principles,” said attorney Matthew Borick, chair of the award committee. “From client service to mentoring to leadership, David provides an example for us all to aspire and is so deserving of this award.”
Sylvester joined the firm in 1992 as an associate and was elected director in 1999. A member of the firm’s business law group, his practice serves a variety of institutional clients in commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, secured financings and real estate and leasing arrangements.
