Greater Burlington YMCA Board of Directors The Board of Directors was informed by our President & CEO Kyle Dodson that he will be stepping down from his role at the end of January to pursue other professional opportunities.
Kyle has played a pivotal role in our organization's 157-year history, notably leading a successful $25mm fundraising campaign and overseeing the construction of a new, debt-free facility—a significant milestone for our community.
The Greater Burlington YMCA Board of Directors expresses its sincere gratitude to Kyle for his instrumental role in leading us through this historic period. Under his leadership, the organization achieved a transformative vision, including the realization of a long-discussed plan for a new facility.
As the Y enters a new phase, with the facility operational and a strategic plan recently concluded, Kyle, in consultation with the Board, believed it was an opportune time for him to pursue other professional challenges. Over the next several months, Kyle will remain involved with the Y to assist with the transition of donor and partner relationships.
We appreciate Kyle's passion and commitment, which have brought us to this point of strength and support. The Board recognizes and is grateful for his significant contributions in building a solid foundation for the Greater Burlington YMCA.
In the upcoming weeks, the Board will implement a plan to identify our next leader. In the interim, we are fortunate to have a skilled and experienced leadership and management team that will continue to guide the Y.
