Attorney Emily Samet has joined the captive insurance practice at the northern New England law firm Downs Rachlin Martin. Before coming to DRM, Samet worked for several small law firms in southern Vermont, building legal experience in residential real estate transactions as well as estate planning and administration, family law, and probate practices.
“We are very pleased that Emily has joined DRM,” said Zaw Win, leader of the firm’s captive insurance group. “She has hit the ground running and is quickly becoming an integral part of our business law and captive insurance practices.”
Samet is a graduate of Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, and holds a master's degree in nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and a law degree, magna cum laude, from Vermont Law and Graduate School. She will be based out of DRM’s Burlington office.
