VMEC reelects advisory board chair, three other members

Mike Rainville, president of Maple Landmark Woodcraft in Middlebury, has been reelected to a one-year term as chair of the Vermont Manufacturing Extension Center Advisory Board. Rainville, a graduate of Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, has led Maple Landmark, a seller of eco-friendly, educational wooden toys, games and gifts, since 1979.

Rainville will serve alongside three advisory board colleagues who were reelected to two-year terms. They are Gina Akley, president of Trow & Holden Co.; David Blittersdorf, president, CEO and founder of AllEarth Renewables; and Janette Bombardier, chief technology officer and chief operating officer at Chroma Technology/89 North.

Jeff Couture, executive director of Vermont Technology Alliance, is leaving the board.
