Collaboration Will Bring New Host/Guest Matching to Windsor, Rutland Counties
Vermont Business Magazine HomeShare Vermont and Woodstock’s The Thompson Senior Center have joined forces to bring more Vermonters access to the homesharing model.
“This partnership will open new doors to folks in our area and we can’t wait to make the connections with HomeShare Vermont,” Deanna Jones, executive director at The Thompson Senior Center, said.
With this partnership, HomeShare Vermont’s coverage will expand into the majority of towns in Windsor County and reach into Rutland County.
“We are excited to work with the team at The Thompson Senior Center,” HomeShare Vermont Executive Director Connor Timmons said. “We know the benefits of homesharing for older Vermonters, including companionship, help with chores, potential rental income and generally the ability to stay in their home longer when they become hosts. This new venture will help more Vermonters and create meaningful relationships between hosts and guests.”
