BEGAP Portal is Closed
The Business Emergency Gap Assistance Program (BEGAP) application portal is closed and the Department of Economic Development is finalizing awards for grantees. If you are awaiting a second payment following the adjustment in the BEGAP award formula, it will arrive the same way the first one did – either a check in the mail or via ACH.
Flood Legal Assistance
Vermont Law and Graduate School is offering one last clinic to help people apply for FEMA grants and SBA loans before the application deadline. Other legal help related to the flood is available, too.

Equipment Flood Grants
Efficiency Vermont is still making grants available via its Commercial Flood Recovery Program. Eligible businesses can get up to $1,000 per piece of qualifying equipment purchased because of the flood. Examples include commercial ice makers, dishwashers, and ovens.
