Sheri Baraw Smith, who previously spent 30 years as general manager of her family-owned establishment, the Stoweflake Resort and Spa, has been named general manager of the historic Green Mountain Inn in Stowe.
Before joining the inn, Smith worked with The Olympia Cos. as a task force general manager at The Glen House in New Hampshire. She has also served as a business consultant to the ownership at the Basin Harbor Club in Vergennes.
"Sheri's extensive background in hospitality will be invaluable as we strive to meet and exceed our guests' expectations," said Ken Biedermann, president of Ampersand Properties, which owns the Green Mountain Inn.
