Vermont State Housing Authority announces personnel changes

The Vermont State Housing Authority has appointed Christopher Trombly as managing director of community development and promoted Elizabeth Whitmore to director of housing services.

Trombly joins the housing agency from M&T Bank, where he served as vice president of loan operations. He is a graduate of Champlain College and volunteers at the South Burlington Affordable Housing Committee, Board of Civil Authority, the Living Well Group, Vermont Kin as Parents and the South Burlington Rotary.

Whitmore, who formerly served as VSHA's director of rental assistance, will now oversee VSHA’s Section 8 contract administration and homeless services and policies. She brings to her new position more than 10 years' experience at the Department of Corrections, Department of Children and Families, and the Burlington Housing Authority. Whitmore is a graduate of the University of Vermont.
