USDOL Women’s Bureau visiting Vermont to highlight local progress and opportunities

Who: Vermont Works for Women, Vermont Agency of Transportation, and U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau
 
What: This collaborative event will highlight the collective work towards building equity across our infrastructure initiatives and throughout the state of Vermont. There will be a brief moderated panel with representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau, Vermont Agency of Transportation leadership and staff, Vermont Works for Women program participants, and working tradeswomen.

The panel will be followed by a graduation celebration of the newest class of Trailblazers – a trades training certification program of Vermont Works for Women.

3:45 - 4:00 pm: Welcome 
4:00 - 5:15 pm: Moderated panel and presentation on Equity in Work and Career Pathways with VWW, VTrans, and USDOL Women’s Bureau 
5:15 - 6:00 pm: Networking 
6:00 - 7:00 pm: Trailblazers graduation celebration
