The Chittenden Area Transportation Management Association, a regional nonprofit providing transportation expertise, solutions and services, has hired Emily Adams as transportation program analyst and promoted Marlena Compton to senior marketing associate.

Adams is a recent graduate of the University of Vermont, where she earned a bachelor's degree in community-centered design. At CATMA, she will manage data-collection systems, work with association members and partners, and help advance sustainable transportation in the Chittenden County area.

“I am delighted to welcome Emily at CATMA to lead our data collection, analysis and reporting,” said Executive Director Sandy Thibault. “Her knowledge, skills and passion for community-centered efforts will be an asset to CATMA and our region.”

Compton joined CATMA in November 2021. She has accelerated the organization's social media, marketing and communications and assisted with its 2022 inaugural Transportation Summit.

“Marlena has been vital to the enhancement of CATMA’s communications and marketing efforts over the last two years” said Associate Director Katie Martin. “We are pleased to promote Marlena into a role where we know she will continue to support CATMA’s mission to ensure transparency to the community.”
