Dr. Andrea Mendelssohn has joined the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Midwifery team at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph. A California native, Mendelssohn brings to her role over 20 years’ experience as a physician, including most recently at a clinic in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
As a general obstetrician-gynecologist, Mendelssohn sees women of all ages, from teenagers to women experiencing menopause. She provides a wide range of services, routine to emergency, delivers babies and supports Gifford midwives, and performs surgery.
Mendelssohn is a graduate of Brown University and holds a medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School. She completed her residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Mendelssohn is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has received several professional honors.
