Adeline Druart, former president of Vermont Creamery, has been named CEO of Lawson's Finest Liquids, an award-winning brewery in Waitsfield. Lawson's founders Sean and Karen Lawson will maintain their positions as stewards of the brand.
Druart joins Lawson's after 19 years at Vermont Creamery, the specialty dairy company acquired in 2017 by Land O'Lakes, a $13 billion food and agribusiness cooperative based in Minnesota. She has served as Vermont Creamery president since 2015 and, concurrently, as Land O'Lakes vice president since 2017.
Druart holds a bachelor's degree in dairy technology and science and a Master in Biotechnology, both earned in France.
“Adeline’s 20 success-filled years of CPG (consumer packaged goods) leadership qualify her, but her enthusiasm for leading with purpose is what makes her the right fit for the team,” said Karen Lawson. “She’s uniquely capable of creating a company culture that cultivates community, protects the planet and takes pride in producing a delicious, quality product.”
Lawson’s Finest, which earned B Corp Certification in May, is best known for its Sunshine family of IPAs. Its brews are distributed throughout New England, plus New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
