Scott Boardman, former chief operating officer at Hickok & Boardman Insurance Group, was elected to the board of directors at Union Mutual Fire Insurance and New England Guaranty Insurance at the companies’ annual meetings in March.
Boardman retired in February after 40-plus years at Hickok & Boardman, where he held the positions of property and casualty agent, vice president and executive vice president before becoming COO. A graduate of Holy Cross College, he is a member and past president of the Vermont chapter of the American Institute For Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters and a director at AN Deringer and PC Construction Company.
“We are very pleased to add Scott’s insight and expertise to our board,” Union Mutual Board Chair Kathy Davis said. “He has a wealth of business and industry experience that will continue to strengthen our board.”
