Paul Frank + Collins, a Burlington-based multipractice law firm, has elected attorney Daniel Long as a director and shareholder of the firm. Long, a member of PF+C's employment and labor and litigation teams, joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2018 following several years of practicing labor and employment law at two prominent Boston law firms.
In his employment and labor practice, Long helps large corporate employers, small businesses, municipalities, educational institutions, hospitals and nonprofit organizations navigate complex federal and state employment and labor laws through thoughtful counseling and strategic advice.
In his employment litigation practice, he handles a broad range of disputes before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims; occupational safety and whistleblower retaliation cases; wage and hour litigation; and claims pertaining to noncompetition, nonsolicitation and confidentiality agreements.
Long's general civil litigation practice focuses on disputes involving business and commercial transactions, corporate governance, negligence and other contract and tort claims in Vermont and Massachusetts state and federal courts.
“Dan is a tremendous attorney and colleague,” said PF+C President Peter McDougall. “His well-rounded skill set and exceptional integrity make him a perfect fit for PF+C.”
