Sandrine Kibuey joins Public Assets Institute Board of Directors

Sandrine Kibuey, director of statewide housing advocacy at the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity, has been elected to the board of directors at the Public Assets Institute, a Montpelier-based independent research organization on state budget, tax and economic issues.

“We are delighted that Sandrine Kibuey has joined us,” said board chair Steve Gold. “She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, and a perspective we value. Her work with a diversity of Vermonters including New Americans, and her commitment to equitable access to public resources and services make her an ideal addition to the board.”

In addition to her work at CVOEO, Kibuey leads the Vermont New American Advisory Council and serves on the board of Northgate Residents Ownership Corporation. Prior to her position at CVOEO, she was project manager at VSO International in Cameroon. Kibuey is a graduate of the University of Kinshasa-Democratic Republic of Congo and holds master's degrees in international community economics of development and in organizational leadership from Southern New Hampshire University.
