Michael Dupee joins Summit Strategy Group as senior adviser

Veteran sustainability and business strategist Michael Dupee has joined Summit Strategy Group, a California-based national public affairs, corporate reputation and ESG consulting firm, as a senior adviser, based in Burlington. Dupee joins the firm after a more than 25-year career spanning investment banking at Goldman Sachs, academia and corporate sustainability and ESG leadership roles.

“Michael brings the depth of academic and business experience that is essential to properly advise clients through the complexity of today’s ESG environment,” said Summit founder and CEO Michael Law. “The shifting political climate surrounding corporate ESG performance creates opportunities and risks that Michael is well equipped to help clients navigate. His insight and experience will be invaluable across the Summit portfolio of clients and new business prospects.”

Dupee served as vice president for corporate social responsibility at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters from 2004 until 2012 and through the company’s acquisition of Keurig. Since 2016, he has taught in the Sustainable Innovation MBA program at the Grossman School of Business at the University of Vermont, one of the world’s leading Green MBA programs.
