Chris Adams, former director of development and communications at the Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging, has joined the Rutland-based social services consortium Community Care Network as manager of communications and community relations. In his new role, Adams will be responsible for all CCN internal and external communication as well as its marketing and community relations initiatives.
“We are thrilled to welcome Chris to the Community Care Network team and look forward to working with him to continue to grow awareness of the agency and the key resources it provides to a wide range of client groups in our region,” said CEO Dick Courcelle.
Adams comes to CCN with 14 years of diverse experience in the public relations and strategic communication field. In addition to his tenure at Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging, he has worked for the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department, Capital Connections, Green Mountain Power and Central Vermont Public Service.
Adams is a graduate of Castleton University, where he currently serves as an assistant coach for the men’s ice hockey program.
