Chris Montagnino, former vice president of university partnerships at Dallas-based Academic Partnerships, has been named vice president of Champlain College Online, Champlain College's online degree- and certificate-granting division for adult learners.
Montagnino joins the Champlain community with nearly 25 years' experience in adult and online higher education, building successful leadership teams and launching and scaling online programs. As vice president, she will lead the online division of Champlain College, which features more than 60 career-focused degree programs in business, cybersecurity, health care and information technology.
“I am excited to welcome Chris to Champlain College,” said President Alex Hernandez. “Throughout her career, she has worked to increase access to high-quality and affordable higher education with truly impressive results. Her extensive experience in developing and delivering online programs will position students for success in all aspects of their academic journey.”
Montagnino holds bachelor's and master's degrees in political science from the University of Texas at El Paso as well as a master's in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.
