Mindy Bero of Essex, a commercial lines producer at Hickok & Boardman Insurance Group in Burlington, was presented with the 2022 Vermont International Association of Insurance Professionals Member of the Year Award, sponsored by New England Excess Exchange, at the organization's Commissioners Night in Waterbury.
Bero is a member of the Champlain Valley Association of Insurance Professionals, where she serves as education chair. She spearheaded the association's outreach to local college students at Champlain College and St Michael’s College by hosting panels of insurance industry professionals and has educated new business owners about insurance for the mentorship organization SCORE and the Center for Women & Enterprise.
