Dailey, Boisvert saluted as top human resources professionals in Vermont

Kevin Dailey, VP of administration and chief human resource officer at Southwestern Vermont Health Care, and Dillon Boisvert, manager of HR and employee development at United Way of Northwest Vermont, were honored as top professionals in their field by the Vermont State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Dailey was named the Dolly Shaw Vermont Human Resources Professional of the Year and Boisvert was recognized as Vermont Human Resources Emerging Professional of the Year.

The Shaw Award recognizes exceptional performance and outstanding achievement by a professional in the field of human resource management. Dailey has earned a reputation in the region as a major business leader through his years as a human resource executive at SVHC and at Mack Molding.

“Kevin is calm and considerate, and he takes the time to meet people where they are rather than try to force them to where he is,” said Ross Gibson, Vermont State Council director of the Society of Human Resource Management and chief of operations at The Richards Group. “He builds trust by being an empathic listener, and people therefore trust him when he is asked his opinion.”

The Vermont Human Resources Emerging Professional of the Year Award recognizes an individual who is relatively new to the HR profession and yet has shown themselves to be innovative, impactful and effective in their work and contributions. Boisvert was cited for going above and beyond to make United Way one of the best places to work in Vermont.

“His human-centered empathetic approach and growth mindset are infectious to our whole team. We are so proud of his accomplishment,” said CEO Jesse Bridges.
