Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports recently announced the promotion of Felicia Fowler, the hiring of Betsy Hoffmeister and a new position for Korey Kubricki.
Following her promotion from program coordinator to program manager of the Sugarbush and Central Vermont facilities, Fowler will oversee all program coordinators and program staff throughout the state and report to Director of Operations Norm Staunton. Fowler is a certified therapeutic recreation specialist and has been with Vermont Adaptive for four years. She holds a master's degree from the University of New Hampshire and has been integral in Vermont Adaptive programming leadership, including the growth of its adaptive mountain bike program.
Hoffmeister was hired as the new program coordinator at Bolton Valley and in Burlington. She has an extensive background in recreational programming and mountain biking, and holds certifications in skiing and mountain biking. Hoffmeister most recently was the program coordinator at Essex Parks and Recreation and has been a Vermont Adaptive volunteer. She holds a master's degree from American University.
Kubricki, who has worked at the company's Pico Mountain office as a development and marketing assistant for the past year, takes over as equipment and facilities specialist. He will work with Fowler and the program team to maintain and repair Vermont Adaptive's huge fleet of equipment. Kubricki holds a bachelor's degree in resort management from Green Mountain College.
