Meehan-Brese joins Gifford’s Rochester Health Center

Gifford Health Care recently welcomed Brigid Meehan-Brese to its team of primary-care providers. Meehan-Brese, who comes to Gifford after spending nearly four years at Springfield Hospital in Vermont, will be seeing patients at Gifford’s Rochester Health Center.

Meehan-Brese holds an associate degree in nursing from Vermont Technical College and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Vermont. Working at an inpatient facility during her career has helped shape Meehan-Brese’s interest in preventative care.

“You see so many people who, had they reached out at the right moment, could have prevented some of what's going on,” Meehan-Brese said. “One of the biggest areas where we have to make improvements in people's health and quality of life is preventative care.”

In Rochester, Meehan-Brese will take over for Dr Erwin Lange, who retired earlier this year.
