The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region, one of the state’s largest providers of skilled home health and hospice services, recognized hospice nurse Richard Marantz and executive assistant Sharon Cseh as clinical and nonclinical employees of the quarter, respectively.
Honorees are selected from nominations submitted by peers and acknowledge employees who go above and beyond their typical job duties and best reflect the agency values of honesty, excellence, accountability, teamwork, leadership and helpfulness.
Marantz, who was honored for his commitment to excellence and quality patient care, was described by one patient as “easy to talk to” and having a “calming nature.”
Cseh, who was recognized for helpfulness and teamwork, was referred to by colleagues as “kind and friendly” and “warm and inviting.”
“Rich and Sharon exemplify the values that are the hallmark of the VNA,” said Director of Human Resources Jessica Fredette. “All employees, no matter what their role here have an opportunity to have a positive impact on the patients and services we provide. We are honored that these outstanding employees join us in our mission of serving our community.”
