Hyperbaric Vermont welcomes new physician, two new board members

Hyperbaric Vermont has welcomed Jenna Scott, ND, to the staff of its Montpelier and South Burlington treatment center, and Liz Baum and Bill Berman to its board of directors.

Scott joins Grace Johnstone, DC, in providing patient intakes, prescriptions and clinical oversight for patients seeking hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Scott has been working with hyperbaric medicine since 2017 and finds it helpful in addressing complex health concerns such as Lyme disease, mold toxicity, chronic fatigue syndrome, concussion, diabetes and cardiovascular disease, as well as autoimmune disorders including Hashimoto's, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis and lupus.

Baum, a Boston-area attorney in private practice, works closely with medical and other professional care providers to improve the lives of her clients. She has served as a member of human rights committees as well as a board member of several nonprofit social-service agencies.

Berman, clinical professor of law emeritus at Suffolk University Law School, has over 35 years' experience as a public sector litigator and clinical law professor. He is a user of and advocate for hyperbaric treatment and a big supporter of Hyperbaric Vermont’s mission to raise awareness of the benefits of hyperbaric treatment and making it accessible to all.

Founded in 2017, Hyperbaric Vermont is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise awareness of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and to make this life-changing treatment accessible. The company offers provider training and affordable hyperbaric oxygen therapy at treatment centers in South Burlington and Montpelier, and through affiliated treatment centers in East Hardwick, Brattleboro, West Lebanon and Middlebury.
