Bruce P King, retired president and CEO of New London Hospital, has been elected chair of the board of directors of Ledyard Financial Group and Ledyard National Bank. He succeeds Margaret Rightmire, who will continue to serve on the board after stepping down as chair.
King joined the Ledyard board in 2014 and has served as co-vice chair since 2019. He is currently a director for New England Life Care, the Crotched Mountain Foundation, and the New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute. He also serves as a trustee for Colby Sawyer College and as treasurer for the New Hampshire High Risk Pool.
