Vermont Manufacturing adds three advisers to its staff

Vermont Manufacturing Extension Center, a business-management consultancy in Randolph Center, announced the addition of three new members to its staff: Louis Prue, as professional manufacturing and business growth adviser; Brett Ference, as director of business development and business adviser; and Keri Bullivant, as part-time professional manufacturing and business growth adviser.

Prue joined VMEC in April after a variety of work experiences at Vermont manufacturers, most recently at NRG Systems in Hinesburg. He’s held operational roles including logistics manager, supply-chain manager, quality manager and director of operations. He holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Trinity College.

Ference joined VMEC in May, bringing with him over 20 years' experience developing and managing product lines across a wide range of categories and business sectors. He has implemented new products and manufacturing techniques around the globe in regulated industries, including the US Fish and Wildlife Service; US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; and health care. He is a graduate of the University of Montana.

Bullivant, who joined VMEC in January, has over 20 years' experience working for numerous manufacturers across Vermont, with leadership roles in both manufacturing and front-office areas. She has maintained a relationship with VMEC throughout her career, becoming proficient in Lean concepts, value stream mapping, TWI, set-up reduction, 5S, Kata and more. Bullivant holds a bachelor's degree in electromechanical engineering technology from Vermont Technical College.
