Central Vermont Medical Center recently welcomed Lauren Abramowitz as a family medicine nurse practitioner. Abramowitz joins CVMC from NewYork-Presbyterian hospital in New York City, where she worked as a family nurse practitioner.
Abramowitz enjoys providing the full spectrum of primary care and working closely with her patients to understand their health care needs. Her clinical interests include patient-centered gynecologic care, comprehensive reproductive health, transgender and LGBTQ care, and preventative health.
She holds bachelor’s degrees from Brandeis University (Health: Science, Society and Policy) and SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University (nursing) and a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner studies from Pace University.
