The Children’s Literacy Foundation in Waterbury Center recently welcomed Sarah Hall as communications manager. With close to two decades of experience in the field, Hall oversees all press and outreach efforts for the nonprofit, including press releases, social media, newsletters and the CLiF blog.
“As a lifelong bookworm, literacy is a passion of mine,” Hall said. “I am excited to help children throughout New Hampshire and Vermont find joy in reading and writing."
Hall is a graduate of Middlebury College and holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern California.
Founded in 1998, CLiF’s mission is to inspire a love of literacy in low-income, at-risk and rural children up to age 12 in New Hampshire and Vermont. To date, the organization has served over 350,000 young readers, and donated almost $9 million in new, high-quality books.
