Davis & Hodgdon CPAs, a division of the Davis & Hodgdon Advisory Group, has announced the addition of six new staff members to its team of accountants for the 2022 tax season. All will serve as associate accountants:
- Sarah Bell of Lincoln has experience in dental industry office management and has acted as an assistant director for many camps. She holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Vermont.
- Sarena Pickells of Burlington has extensive experience in the restaurant industry and client service. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Vermont.
- Meghann Dayton of Rutland has worked since 2017 as a tax preparer, financial adviser assistant and operations specialist at RNL & Associates in Rutland. She is a graduate of Castleton University and holds a a master’s in business administration from Phoenix University.
- Peter Highland of Williston has experience in tax preparation, client services and food delivery. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University.
- Angela Barrows of Monkton spent the past two tax seasons as an intern with a Burlington CPA firm. She has a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Vermont and is pursuing a master’s degree at Southern New Hampshire University.
- Michael Hamilton recently graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a double major in accounting and business administration. He previously worked as a bookkeeper for an attorney in Plattsburgh as well as an administrative business and finance specialist at Plattsburg Health Group.
