Veilleux appointed chief people officer at National Life

Michael Veilleux, a longtime human resources executive at National Life, has been appointed Vice President and Chief People Officer. Veilleux has been at National Life since 2008 and has worked in all areas of human resources since then. He started as a recruiter and most recently led the company’s team of business partners. He has also led a drive toward organizational excellence specifically in the operations area of the company.

Mehran Assadi, Chairman, President and CEO, praised Veilleux’s commitment to National Life’s culture and employees.

Prior to joining National Life, Veilleux held leadership roles in several New England-based companies with a focus on sales, operations and human resources.
