Two Rivers-Ottauquechee congratulations Wraight on AICP certification

Congratulations to Sarah Wraight for earning her membership in the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP)! The AICP is the American Planning Association’s professional institute. AICP certification is the only nationwide, independent verification of planners’ qualifications. To become certified, a planner must have a specified combination of relevant education and professional experience, must pass an examination that tests skills and knowledge, must pay an annual fee, and must be a member of the American Planning Association in good standing. To maintain membership in the AICP, a certified planner must earn a specified number of continuing education credit hours that includes course in planning law and ethics every two years. Sarah earned her certification after attaining a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning in 2017 from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, followed by professional planning experience at the North Central Texas Council of Governments and TRORC, passing the AICP exam, and completing the written essays.
