HallKeen Assisted Living names Munzir, Jennings, and Driver to leadership team of new assisted living community

HallKeen Assisted Living, the assisted living operator of Maple Ridge Lodge announces the promotion of Katy Munzir to Senior Executive Director, and the appointments of Jessica Jennings, RN as Resident Care Director and Kate Driver as Community Relations Director. Scheduled to open in July 2021, Maple Ridge Lodge is a 71 unit-apartment assisted living community for seniors located at 2 Freeman Woods in Essex Junction, Vermont.

Katy Munzir has been promoted to Senior Executive Director from her most recent job as Executive Director for HallKeen’s Maple Ridge Memory Care, a residential community for seniors adjacent to the new assisted living building. She brings over 20 years of experience in senior living and in her new role, Katy will oversee the operations for both properties thus ensuring the continued success of the memory care building and her pre-opening and start-up of the assisted living. Katy has been in the senior living business for 11 years and with Maple Ridge Memory Care since 2017 where she started as the Director of Memory Care. She received her education at Community College of Vermont.

Jessica Jennings, RN brings over 30 years of nursing experience to her new position of Resident Care Director for Maple Ridge Lodge. In her new role, Jessica will oversee all nursing, care, and resident wellness, including the management of the nursing staff and ensuring all services provided to the senior residents meet or exceed regulatory expectations. Jessica is no stranger to assisted living and has been an Administrator, Director of Nursing, and a Staff Nurse with promotions to Charge Nurse and RN III. Jessica received her undergraduate degree at Johnson State College and her RN from Castleton State College.

Kate Driver has been named Community Relations Director for Maple Ridge Assisted Living and will be responsible for all marketing and sales of the new building. Kate will be conducting guest visits, social media campaigns, new business development, and overseeing the Charter Membership, the waitlist program for the community. Prior to joining Maple Ridge, Kate was in the private school business where she was responsible for the start-up of new schools including site location, licensing, staffing, and new student recruitment. A graduate of the University of Vermont, Kate went on to receive a certification in early childhood development from Northern Lights Community College of Vermont.
