Posternak joins Union Bank as branch administrator

David S. Silverman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Union Bank is pleased to announce that Michael R. Posternak has joined the bank as Assistant Vice President, Branch Administrator. Michael is responsible for managing the Bank’s 18 branch operations in Vermont and New Hampshire, including the supervisory personnel with a focus on creating a consistently professional and positive customer experience. He will also serve as a liaison for community development activities in each of the Bank’s branch office markets.

Prior to joining Union Bank, Michael worked at Citizens Bank as Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager. He brings over twenty years of experience in retail banking in the United States and Canada working in several Branch Manager positions coaching branch personnel. Michael received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/ Spanish from the University of Vermont and speaks French and Spanish.

Actively involved in Community Service, Michael has served on the boards of United Way of Northwest Vermont and the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Michael lives in Williston, and in his spare time enjoys golf, bowling and volunteering in the community.
