Langrock Sperry & Wool, LLP is pleased to announce that attorney and partner Emily J. Joselson is one of four recipients of the 2020 Bonnie and John McCardell Citizen’s Awards in recognition of her remarkable contributions to the community.
Emily has founded, championed, and volunteered for multiple community endeavors, including: the Community Conversations Project, Addison Central Teens, Addison County Parent/Child Center, Havurah: The Addison County Jewish Congregation, the Addison County Hunger Council, the Addison County Home Health and Hospice, Standing up for Racial Justice, the Middlebury Task Force on Homelessness, and the Vermont Human Rights Commission.

With a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and after clerking for then-Chief Justice Franklin S. Billings on the Vermont Supreme Court, Emily joined Langrock Sperry & Wool in 1983. She represents individuals in catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases, environmental cases, and those harmed by sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful discharge, and is regularly recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America®.
