Eloise Smith and David Pearlman recently joined the Alliance Francaise of the Lake Champlain Region. Eloise joined the Alliance Francaise of the Lake Champlain Region as a volunteer Marketing and Communications Intern. She is a junior at UVM with a double major in Psychological Science and Studio Art. Last summer she taught sailing on Lake Champlain at the Community Sailing Center. Her background in French started when she was young. She took French classes throughout high school and is currently studying French at UVM. She is excited for this opportunity to serve the community and AFLCR. The AFLCR welcomes her to our team.
David is a 3rd year student at the University of Vermont hailing from Fairfax Virginia. He recently accepted an internship with the Alliance Francaise of the Lake Champlain Region in Marketing and Communications. He is a political science major in the college of arts and sciences with minors in history and biology. He took French in high school and visited Brussels. He would like to become fluent in conversational French. He is particularly interested in French because of our proximity to Quebec here in Burlington and because one of my dream vacations is to bike through small towns in France eating in small cafes. Growing up his family watched le tour de France religiously. The AFLCR welcomes him to our team.
