Sales organization changes at Hubbardton Forge

Luxury lighting company, Hubbardton Forge, announced recent changes in its sales organization. Effective November 23rd, Andrew Knapp has been appointed to the position of VP of Sales, replacing Chris Recchia. The company has eliminated the role of National Residential Showroom Sales Manager, formerly held by Bruce Hathaway, due to the increased scope of the new V.P. of Sales.

Until recently VP of Trade Sales for Ricci Sales (a sales agency in the lighting space, with representatives covering New York, New Jersey and parts of Connecticut), Andrew has been representing Hubbardton Forge, along with other key competitors, for more than a decade. Having previously worked for a retail lighting showroom, and with designers working on both residential and commercial projects with Ricci Sales, Andrew has had the opportunity to work in every part of the lighting industry, including collaborations that have led to customized products for client projects.

“I’m looking forward to focusing on the advantages that Hubbardton Forge presents to our customers, across all channels, as an American maker,” according to Knapp, “We have custom capabilities right here, and products that meet every lighting application need.”

As VP of Sales, Andrew will report directly to Maria Mullen, President & COO. “I am thrilled to welcome Andrew to his new role at Hubbardton Forge. His past experience, especially selling our products at retail and wholesale, will bring a different perspective to our sales operation. Understanding our customers’ challenges, as Andrew does, will make us a stronger partner and a more important resource. With Andrew overseeing our sales team we are excited about the future.”

Andrew will oversee Commercial, Trade and Residential Showroom sales. He will have a particular focus on Showroom sales, with all residential sales representatives reporting directly to him. Additionally, Amy McGuire, National Commercial Sales Manager, and Stephen Bowen-Romàn, National Trade Sales Manager, will report in their roles to Andrew.

For over 46 years, Hubbardton Forge created made-to-order, handcrafted products in an environmentally responsible way.
