Republican Candidate for Lt Governor Scott Milne today announced that Franklin County State Senator Corey Parent has joined his campaign as Campaign Manager.
“I’m excited to have Corey join our campaign,” Milne said “Corey brings a wealth of knowledge about the issues facing Vermonters and has a proven record of reaching voters.”
Parent was first elected to the Vermont House of Representatives in 2014, where he served two terms before being elected to the State Senate in 2018. Parent has been an instrumental part to Republican electoral successes in Franklin County since 2014.
“I’m excited to join Scott’s campaign for Lt. Governor. I got to know Scott in 2014 when we both were political newcomers, and both shocked the Vermont political establishment. I believe Scott Milne is the right person at the right time to be our next lieutenant governor. He is the only candidate who has the experience of growing and managing a business through difficult economic times. His voice is one that Vermonters desperately need in the State House,” Parent stated.
