The CWEVT welcomes Megan Sullivan to advisory board

The Center for Women & Enterprise Vermont (CWEVT) is pleased to welcome Megan Sullivan to its statewide Advisory Board. Megan brings a wealth of experience in government and advocacy. She will help provide guidance to CWEVT as it fulfills its mission of strengthening individuals, their families and communities across Vermont by helping women launch and successfully sustain businesses.

Megan Sullivan is the Executive Director of the Vermont Economic Progress Council (VEPC), a statewide independent council with authorization and oversight of the Vermont Employment Growth Incentive and Vermont’s Tax Increment Financing program. She was appointed Executive Director of VEPC in 2018 by Vermont Governor Phil Scott. Prior to this appointment, Megan was the Business Liaison in Congressman Peter Welch’s Vermont district office. Megan is an alumna of the University of Vermont holding a degree in Political Science and Community & International Development. She is currently a Fellow with the Council of Development Finance Agency’s Franzini Fellowship for female leaders in development finance. Megan lives in Jericho, Vermont with her husband Kevin and two children Sam and Celeste.

CWEVT was established in 2016 in partnership with the Small Business Administration’s Vermont Women’s Business Center grant and provides statewide no-cost individual business counseling, education & training, networking opportunities, and Women’s Business Enterprise Certification. CWEVT is one of the 5 Women’s Business Centers hosted by the regional Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE), an economic development nonprofit founded in 1995 that helps strengthen individuals, their families and their communities by helping women launch and successfully sustain businesses.
